Where Organizing Meets Wellness

How Organizing Can Help

My deepest passion is helping people find freedom and joy in their lives. Sometimes that means addressing the space around them, because a cluttered or overwhelming environment can quietly work against the healing you are trying to help your patients achieve.

Over the last four years, the most unexpected gift of my organizing work has been watching the emotional transformation in my clients. That is where my two worlds meet. I believe there is real common ground between organizing and wellness, and it is a space where I can support the healing journey you have already begun with your patients.

How I Can Support Your Patients

Sometimes a health condition calls for outside help. A patient managing ADHD who feels buried by a cluttered space may need someone to help kickstart a calmer, more settled environment. Patients newly diagnosed with a condition like celiac disease may need a hand clearing out a pantry and kitchen, removing what no longer serves them and setting the space up for healing success.

I do not diagnose or counsel. I follow the plan you outline. Think of me as an extension of your care team, someone who can carry the practical, hands-on work of the home so your patients can focus on getting well.

A Foundation Rooted in Health and Healing

I am a home organizer with an extensive background in health and wellness, and my own healing story is part of why this work matters so much to me. In 2017, I was misdiagnosed with a thyroid condition. I consulted with many practitioners, tried a variety of healing modalities, and eventually got off prescription medication, regrew my hair, and got my life back.

I know firsthand that healing takes time, energy, and a trusted team around you. That experience shapes how I show up for people. I listen, I observe, and I work to create order and simplicity so my clients can thrive.

My Background

  • Master of Science in Agriculture, Food and the Environment from the Tufts University School of Nutrition
  • Master of Public Health in Health Communication from the Tufts University School of Medicine
  • Marketed leading natural and organic food brands at a San Francisco advertising agency, deepening my knowledge of health messaging, food sensitivities, and allergens
  • Owned and operated a vegan, macrobiotic health food store in West Nashville, partnering with local health professionals to support their patients on their healing journeys

Testimonial

Collaborating with Amy Hopeman has been a supportive pleasure for my health oriented business.  Amy understands what it takes to heal. Her extensive background in nutrition and public health combined with her organizing skills make her an ideal partner for me and my clients. As a macrobiotic counselor of over 35 years, food as therapy is the focus of what I use to help my clients heal a variety of digestive, inflammatory and autoimmune conditions. I personalize and curate my clients' healing program and Amy helps them get what they need to succeed. From setting up their kitchen and pantry to finding hard to source products, she approaches each situation with compassion, great listening skills and interest in my clients' path to wellness. I can see how my protocols are working and I trust Amy to support the goals I set for my clients. She doesn’t overstep, she respects my work and knows that healing takes time. Amy genuinely wants to help people live their best lives.
